This rainy day is the perfect time to get some really fun Halloween quilts. The large quilt features goblins that glow in the dark! On the table runners, a black cat flies on a witch’s broom ,and owls and bats zoom past a full moon. Countryside Artisans Fall Studio Tour continues today from 10-5. I’m Stop 8 on the map at 17615 Whites Ferry Road in Poolesville.

We are open this weekend! Sugarloaf Quilting is Stop 8 on the Countryside Artisans Fall Studio Tour. Hours are 10-5 today, tomorrow, and Sunday (Oct 2-4). Come see over 50 quilted items displayed for your viewing and shopping pleasure. We are located at 17615 Whites Ferry Road in Poolesville.

Here is Strata, named for the geometric pattern by Zen Chic. How I love her designs! I modified the original pattern to use more of the colorful Flights of Fancy fabric by Art Gallery. The backing is Butterfly Moth, also by Art Gallery, for perfect color coordination. This is a nice size for a child’s quilt or a lap quilt. Come see it during the Countryside Artisans Fall Studio Tour on Oct 2-4. I’m Stop 8 on the tour in Poolesville.
