🎭✨ Meet Director Kim Tutor! ✨🎭

Meet Kim Tutor, the director behind “A Hairy Tale”! 🎬🎭 Kim has been involved with Pontotoc Community Theater for the past five years and currently serves on the theater’s Board of Directors as Vice President. During her time with PCT, she has worn many hats both on and off the stage, including acting in numerous productions and directing several shows. 🌟

While she enjoys every aspect of theater, directing the annual children’s production holds a special place in her heart. ❤️ Kim first became involved as a way to spend time with her middle son, Ben, but what began as a family activity quickly grew into a passion for community theater. Over the years, the theater has truly become a family affair, with all three of her children and her husband participating in productions. This year, while Kim is busy directing “A Hairy Tale,” her husband, Jonathan, is working behind the scenes running lights and sound. 💡🎚️ Together, they help create the magic that audiences see on stage. Also, audiences can see her son, Ben, and her daughter, Ellie, onstage this weekend! 🎭✨

When she’s not directing, Kim enjoys supporting young performers and helping them build confidence, friendships, and a love for the arts. 🎬🌟 Watching the cast grow throughout the rehearsal process is one of her favorite parts of directing.

Kim is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work with such a talented cast of young performers and is proud of all the hard work they have put into this production. ❤️👏

🎭✨ Meet Backstage Mom Nicole Gray! ✨🎭

Meet Nicole Gray, one of the dedicated backstage moms helping make “A Hairy Tale” a success! Nicole first became involved with Pontotoc Community Theater when her son, Gracen, was cast as Fritz in “The Nutcracker.” What started as supporting her son quickly turned into a love for theater and serving wherever she was needed.

Over the years, Nicole has helped with lights and sound, worked backstage, and has become one of those dependable volunteers who always steps up when needed. This time around, you’ll find her behind the scenes helping keep young actors organized, listening for cues, fixing costumes, calming nerves, and making sure everything runs smoothly backstage. 🎭✨

Nicole recently stepped into the spotlight herself, making her acting debut as Morgan in “Treasure Island.” While she enjoyed the challenge of performing on stage, she’s just as happy helping behind the scenes and supporting the cast however she can.

Above all, Nicole is grateful to be a child of God, a wife, and a mother. Her kindness, encouragement, and willingness to help make her an invaluable part of the PCT family.

🎭✨ Meet Gibson! ✨🎭

Fourteen-year-old Gibson is excited to be part of the cast of “A Hairy Tale” as Elton! One of his favorite things about theater is meeting new people and making new friends through each production. 🎭❤️

Gibson has appeared in several productions over the years, including “The Enchanted Bookshop,” “Artist Retreat,” and “Alice in Wonderland.” His love of performing keeps him coming back to the stage year after year.

When he’s not acting, Gibson enjoys playing video games, drawing, writing, and reading. 🎮🎨✍️📚 He also loves to sing and do karaoke, making the spotlight a natural fit! 🎤✨

A fun fact about Gibson is that his favorite animals are chameleons and armadillos—definitely some unique favorites! 🦎

🎭✨ Meet Wilson Hill! ✨🎭

Twelve-year-old Wilson Hill is making his theater debut as Lou the UPS Guy in “A Hairy Tale”! This is Wilson’s very first time on stage, and he’s already having a blast. His favorite part of the show? Getting to yell at the Big Bad Wolf! 🐺📦😂

When he’s not rehearsing, Wilson stays busy with band, where he plays the clarinet, as well as wrestling and archery. 🎶🤼🏹 He also enjoys a good game of chess and loves the challenge of thinking several moves ahead. ♟️

Wilson’s favorite animal is cats 🐱, and his favorite food is what he calls “soggy pizza” 🍕—a choice that’s sure to spark some debate!

🎭✨ Meet Sienna Ambrose! ✨🎭

Twelve-year-old Sienna Ambrose is excited to take the stage as the Big Bad Wolf in “A Hairy Tale”! Sienna has been involved in theater for two years and says her favorite part of being in a show is the experience itself and all the wonderful friends she’s made along the way. 🎭❤️

Sienna previously performed in “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” at another theater. She loves being part of the excitement that comes with bringing stories to life on stage.

When she’s not rehearsing, Sienna enjoys sports, volunteering at church, and singing. 🏃‍♀️⛪🎶 She stays active in her community and loves spending time doing things that make a difference.

One fun fact about Sienna is that she’s “on Google!” 😄 Her favorite animal is the sea otter. 🦦

Fourteen-year-old Jayden Owen is excited to take the stage as the Evil Queen in “A Hairy Tale”! This is Jayden’s second theater production, and she says one of her favorite things about this role is that she gets to be evil—even though she doesn’t look evil! 👑😈🎭

Audiences may recognize Jayden from “On Christmas Day in the Morning,” where she made her theater debut. She’s excited to be back on stage and continue growing as a performer.

When she’s not rehearsing, Jayden enjoys DIY projects, dancing, and theater. 💃🎨✨ She loves being creative and finding new ways to express herself both on and off the stage.

Jayden’s favorite animal is the turtle 🐢, and one of her favorite snacks is pretzel bites 🥨.

Ten-year-old Jayme Carmack is excited to make her theater debut as Antonia in “A Hairy Tale”! This is Jayme’s very first time being involved in theater, and she says her favorite part of the show is getting to have lines and talk in the play. 🎭💬

When she’s not rehearsing, Jayme enjoys playing pretend, reading, drawing, playing with dolls, and creating fun adventures with her imagination. 📚🎨🩷 She also loves comedy and making people laugh! 😂

One fun fact about Jayme is that she loves all things funny and enjoys putting a smile on people’s faces. Her favorite foods include pizza, chicken, queso, nachos, and grilled cheese. 🍕🧀🌮

Thirteen-year-old Kendall Graham is excited to take the stage as Narrator 2 in “A Hairy Tale”! Kendall has been involved in theater for four years and says her favorite part of being in productions is the friendships she has made along the way. 🎭❤️

Audiences may recognize Kendall from several previous productions, including “A Fairy Tale Christmas Carol,” “The Glass Slipper,” “Finding Nemo Jr.,” “Dr. Experimentor and the League of Evil,” and “On Christmas Day in the Morning.” Her years of experience and love of theater help bring every story to life.

When she’s not on stage, Kendall enjoys volleyball, basketball, 4-H, and theater. 🏐🏀🍀🎭 She stays active and involved in a variety of activities throughout the year.

Kendall’s favorite animal is the giraffe 🦒, and she loves spending time with friends both on and off the stage.
