"The Butler Did It! Opens tonight October 9, 2026! And we still have a few more of our outstanding cast & crew to introduce.

As an avid mystery READER, Jennifer Wright, is super excited to be playing the role of best-selling mystery WRITER, Edwina Corry. Jennifer has appeared in & directed "a bunch of" productions here, most recently, "Treasure Island."

When not doing theater stuff, she loves to spend time with her family - playing board games, taking walks, or sightseeing. She also enjoys reading, yoga, and cinnamon Drizzilicious.

Jennifer says she has had a lot of fun moments at rehearsals with her wonderful castmates. Come see the fruits of their labor this weekend!

Calling all sleuths! Our production of "The Butler Did It" hits the stage this weekend, so come test your investigative powers.

Continuing our cast introductions, meet Regina Butler who ably takes on the role of feisty Gram.

Regina has always loved Granny Clampett. She brought laughter and enthusiasm to every performance, and while Regina doesn't claim to be Irene Ryan, she was Regina's inspiration for this role.

Regina enjoys reading books, crocheting, raising chickens and cats, and making her two dogs happy. She also enjoys teaching first to third grades at church and going to the ocean with her Jonathan.

You have 4 opportunities to see Regina & the rest of our hard-working cast this weekend-

Only 5 more days until "The Butler Did It" hits the stage & we have a few more folks to introduce.

No show is without a director, and in the chair once again is Justus Wright. A long time member of the Pontotoc Community Theater, he's been involved in just about every aspect of the performing arts. He - along with the rest of the cast and crew - have been hard at it, and are very proud to present "The Butler Did It!".

Outside the theater, he enjoys his free time cooking, drawing, playing video games, reading sci-fi novels and travelogues, and keeping an eye out for new and interesting things.

In addition to directing this show, Justus also plays the part of Trevor Barstow, the Covingtons' neighbor & all around cad.

You are cordially invited to this murder mystery & it would be a "crime" to miss it!

Continuing with our cast introductions, up next we present JoAnna Faulkner...

"This is my sixth production with Pontotoc Community Theater - does that mean I can officially say I’m “no stranger to the PCT stage?” 😉

Yes, JoAnna, you can officially say that, and we're glad you're back- this time in the role of Lady Miranda Covington. When JoAnna isn"t pretending to be someone else, she's usually singing or watching the same shows over and over. Basically, she just really enjoys having an excuse to be dramatic. 🙃

Come watch “The Butler Did It” to find out if he really did do it… or is it someone else!👀
