Don’t cry because it’s over…smile because it happened!

It’s ok Sebastian, today may be the last day to see Vermillion Players Presents: Disney’s The Little Mermaid, but people have TWO CHANCES to see it today! That’s right! It’s a DOUBLE FEATURE kind of day. We open today with a 2 PM matinee show (doors open at 1:30 PM) and then we close out the weekend with a 7 PM show (doors open at 6:30). Both shows being held at The Eagle Performing Arts & Conference Center.

Be sure to get there early as we’ve had lines AROUND THE BLOCK the last two nights. We will do our best to accommodate everyone who comes tonight within safety regulations. We thank you all for your continued support and patience as we had to move the show. We’re so thankful for our wonderful community!

We absolutely have to take this time to express our deepest love and admiration for this community. Not only did it take a village to get everything we needed moved over from the park to The Eagle Performing Arts & Conference Center, but the overwhelming response from A PACKED HOUSE filled our hearts with joy last night.

So on behalf of the Vermillion Players Board of Directors and the cast of Disney’s The Little Mermaid: THANK YOU! Thank you to all our volunteers, patrons, family and friends who make this experience so enjoyable and the reason we keep coming back and performing year after year since 1965. We love our small, BUT MIGHTY, community and we wouldn’t have it any other way!

As for the show tonight, we are still at The Eagle as we await the flood levels going down at the park. The show will still start at 7 PM with doors opening at 6:30. Tickets will still be purchased at the door and we will accommodate as many people as we can within safety regulations. We still have our classic concessions and some amazing raffle prizes for you to enter with proceeds going to The Robert B. McKenzie Scholarship.

We thank you again for your continued support of the arts, the people in this community, as well as Vermillion Players. You keep showing up, and we’ll keep putting on the high quality theater performances you know and love. Hope to see you soon!

It appears King Triton may have used some of his magic for our friends who couldn’t come see us last night due to the cancellation…

THAT’S RIGHT EVERYONE!!! Vermillion Players is happy to announce we’ve now added ANOTHER PERFORMANCE! With the move to The Eagle Performing Arts & Conference Center we will now be adding a MATINEE SHOW on Sunday June 14 at 2 PM!

So that’s now performances TONIGHT (June 12 at 7 PM), TOMORROW (June 13 at 7 PM, and a DOUBLE FEATURE ON SUNDAY (June 14 at 2 PM and 7 PM)

Hello friends! We have UPDATES for you regarding Vermillion Players Presents: Disney’s The Little Mermaid!

First, we have to announce that the City of Pontiac has closed Chautauqua Park due to flooding so we will not be having the show there.

THE GOOD NEWS is that the City has offered up The Eagle Performing Arts & Conference Center as a substitute venue. As the saying goes: THE SHOW MUST GO ON! So The Eagle will be our new home for the remainder of the show!

Final reminder! The performance will still start at 7 PM with doors opening at 6 PM

Unfortunately due to the inclement weather tonight, we have made the difficult decision as a board to cancel tonight’s performance of Vermillion Players Presents: Disney’s The Little Mermaid. Our top priority with every show is keeping our cast, crew, and patrons safe and that is what led to this decision. We hope you will join us the next three nights! Shows starting at 7 PM with doors opening at 6!
