Vermillion Players was founded the summer of 1965 by Henry and Uretta Lovell as something to keep the children occupied during the summer months. Since then, Vermillion Players has added on to their summer season including participants of all ages. Most recently, when The Eagle Performing Arts and Conference Center reopened in 2015, Vermillion Players added four dinner theatre shows during the win

Vermillion Players is very excited to bring you our cast list for THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW SHADOW CAST!!!

You’ve been asking and now it’s time to let you know!!! Vermillion Players is excited to announce our first two shows for 2027 coming to The Eagle Performing Arts & Conference Center!!!

Starting us off in February, we have THE LAST FIVE YEARS directed by Cheyanne Kreush and produced by Dylan Webster. This 2 person musical tells the story of a relationship between characters Cathy and Jamie as they tell their love story from opposite ends and meet in the middle. We will be announcing audition dates in the near future but keep in mind we will be looking for actors 18 and over for this show.

Coming in April, VP takes its first step into Shakespeare as we present MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING. Directed by Dalton Dean and Mars Whaley and produced by Devan Bohm, this classic play tells the story of courtship and scandal involving young Hero and her suitor, Claudio, but the witty war of words between Claudio’s friend Benedick and Hero’s cousin Beatrice often takes center stage.

We can’t wait to share more about these shows as we get closer to them!

As we reach the end of our summer season in the park, the Vermillion Players Board of Directors would like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to all our cast, crew, volunteers, patrons, and sponsors. We have THE MOST WONDERFUL community to perform theater in and we are so grateful for the support we get every year! We look forward to carrying on this proud tradition next year!

Now that the summer is over, we would like to direct your attention to Auditions For Snow White for the Unified show (performances October 8-11) coming up in a few days as well as Auditions for Rocky Horror Shadow Cast (performance on October 31) next week!

As an added bonus, be sure to watch this page on Monday for our first OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT of our first two shows of 2027 at The Eagle Performing Arts & Conference Center! We’ll also be announcing our June 2027 show soon!

It’s the final night for THE GAME’S AFOOT and we just want to take a moment to congratulate our cast and crew on a wonderful run! They’ve put so much hard work into this show and are so happy you all have enjoyed it so much!
