Our cruise dancers are selling Fannie May candy bars to help raise funds for their trip. We have some available for purchase at BOTH Dancenter locations for $3 a bar. We have Milk Chocolate, Almond, Crisp, Peanut Butter, and Caramel. Stop up at the office to grab some this week.

Illinois Farm Bureau's Actively Engaged Student of the Month series is back for the 2026-27 school year — and El Paso Gridley High School junior Adalyn Solomonson is kicking it off!

Solomonson is an 8-year member of her 4-H club and the Illinois Association FFA Section 9 Reporter. She is on track to earn her Illinois FFA State Degree by the end of the year.

The student-athlete and devoted Dancenter dance student also launched her own business, Corsage & Co., which she started after making corsages for her friends while a freshman.

She tells Jim Taylor of the RFD Radio Network it's the connections she's made along the way that keep her invested in her many activities.

"I really enjoy getting to know all of the people in the different aspects of my life," she says. "I think the people in all of these things really keep me motivated and keep me going."

We're back!!!!! Today is the first day of the 26-27 dance season and we are SO excited!

A few things to keep in mind over the first few days... if you ordered dance shoes, please ask at the office. Shoe fittings will not be available this week unless you email us to set up an appointment or leave a note with your name
and phone number in the tuition box. Our staff will be very busy getting classes going and making sure everyone is where they need to be.

Any payments can be made over the parent portal, or by cash or check that can be put in the tuition box just outside the office.

We have a photo booth available for you to take "first day of dance" photos. Please tag us!

If you are a parent of little ones, you are welcome to stay in the waiting room during your childs class. Please keep the classroom doors clear, and the waiting room volume low, as this aids in eliminating classroom distractions.

Week one can be very busy and chaotic, please extend us some grace as we shuffle through new schedules and get everyone acclimated.

We are ONE WEEK from the start of our new season and we are EXCITED! These amazing ladies are ready to share an awesome year with you all. We are pumped to meet many new faces, and welcome back our returning dancers.

Miss Anita, Miss Becky, Miss Shannon, Miss Anya, Miss Lindsay, Miss Abbey, and Miss Liz are ready to create some awesome memories this year.

If you haven't gotten a chance to be fitted for dance shoes, we will be openTuesday and Wednesday at BOTH Dancenter locations.
