Denton County Cowboy Church will be riding in the parade tomorrow in Denton. Come out and join in the fun and ride on the float or your horse. Or just bring the kids out to get candy and say hello. See you there. For more info if wanting to ride contact me.

NTSFR parade 2026 Saturday Aug 22.

The parade starts at 9. Line up is at 8:30. That means we need to be ready to ride by 8:30. I suggest get there at 7:30 so we can be ready to go. We are going to wear our blue short sleeve t-shirts. I have extra if needed. I will bring flags for those who want to carry a flag. Bring your own flag holder. I only have a couple extra. If not carrying a flag you can bring candy to throw. We will also have a truck with a flatbed trailer for anyone who does not have a horse. For anyone riding on the trailer - bring a blanket or something to sit on. We will have hay bales but if you wear shorts it will not be comfortable. It will be hot!! I will have a cooler with water on the trailer. I suggest something around your neck you can wet to keep cool. Wear some kind of hat straw cowboy hat suggested to cover neck and ears. Candy- take your small bags and open them and put into a large bag. Makes easier to get access to throw. Small individual wrapped candy is best. It is a big parade so bring lots of candy. Directions- take University to Fulton. Turn right on Fulton. About 4 blocks on the left at Crescent will be parking in front of tennis courts.
