Since 1972, the Ponchatoula Strawberry Festival has been attracting both young and old alike to its annual party to recognize and honor the tireless dedication of the regions farmers and in celebration of the Louisiana State fruit – the plump, juicy, sweetness of a good ole ripe Ponchatoula Strawberry.

Yesterday evening several of our board members graduated from Leadership Tangipahoa! Several more are alumni and we hope to see a few other board members eventually be afforded the opportunity to enroll. We are proud to have so many community leaders that serve on our board!🍓

We were specifically eager to sponsor our Chairman, Rueben Auter, this year for this program. Leadership Tangipahoa is a year long commitment that shows you the ins and outs of why Tangipahoa is the best parish in the state. 😎

🍓Julian Dufreche Strawberry Day in the Park is one big fundraiser for many entities.❤️
As you already know we were able to give our participating Louisiana Strawberry Farmers $16,775 from the proceeds raised at our Strawberry Auction!🚜
The Wing Cook off raised $15,200 for Tangipahoa Crime Stoppers!👮🏻‍♀️
The Bake off raised $215 for Our Daily Bread Food Pantry!🥖
The Car Show raised $1,825 for the LA State Troopers Foundation!💫

We are delighted to give this money to programs who make positive differences in all of our lives! Join us next year to help make a difference! 🍓❤️

⭐️Mandatory Meeting will be hosted in Memorial Park May 30th at 10am!
⭐️Pageant will be hosted at Ponchatoula High School Auditorium June 13th at 6pm!
