It would be great to have a video game middle ground.

I come across a lot of games where a character dies, and then another -very- similar new character joins the party.

On the other end of the spectrum, sometimes you can hear my eye rolls when that plot armor gets super silly.

Just meet me in the middle.

Final Fantasy Ivalice Chronicles is in the books. Had to watch Ovelia die after the credits rolled...boooooooo.

Chapter 1 of Tactics remaster is done and in the books.

My thoughts, I'm thrilled for the narration. I think some of the voice acting is great, but some of them definitely not what I expected. Mostly, I wish that the fight at Zeikdan would have gone with the original script where Golgarath tells them there is enough powder to blow everyone to hell and back.

Way WAY more good that bad. Being able to autoscroll the dialogue, spell casting with the occasional flavor narration, spells in general seem to have a better, more favorable casting time. The UI of everything is just flat better verses the original.

Looking forward to chapter 2 :D
