Hey Sunshine!
We've noticed that our homeschool kids are having a tough time committing to a weekly class this semester, so we've added something to our calendar that will hopefully provide another great art-making option. 🥳

Once-upon-a-time, we offered homeschool workshops about once a month and we called the group Art-Venture Kids. Each workshop/class met for a couple of hours and featured a specific project and focus. We're revisiting the idea again this fall and are excited to share our upcoming dates and themes. It's my hope that this will be a convenient way for you to fit some sunshine into your schedule!

Our Homeschool classes and Kaleidoscope classes each feature the same projects, and what wonderful projects they are! When you want a little bit of this and a little bit of that; to try out a myriad of art supplies without having to decide on just one, these classes are a great choice.

When you look through a Kaleidoscope, you see the world in lots of different ways, even though you're looking at the same thing. We can do that with artwork, too, and our vision can change depending on what is used to create it and who is doing the creating.

These classes are just right for ages 5-10, with each age bringing their own skills, impressions, and ideas to the studio. This class may feature painting of all kinds, collage, polymer clay, paper mache, found objects, pastels, fiber arts, and more. You never know what you'll discover at Kaleidoscope!

Calling all older kids: We created our Bright Ideas class just for you! 💡 🎨🌞

This new class offering allows young artists the opportunity to capture their ideas and inspirations in custom-created art journals. Inside, they are guided to explore printmaking, collage, paint techniques, pastel blending, writing, and so much more. Based on these discoveries, each child will create several one-of-a-kind art pieces that reflects their interests and unique visual voice.
