This past Wednesday and Thursday I got the opportunity to head to Iowa for the Woodbury County Fair PRCA Rodeo! While there I got the opportunity to carry Old Glory, hand out mutton busting buckles, and push calves!

I love being able to travel to surrounding states and meeting new committees, stock contractors and rodeo enthusiasts!

On Saturday of Nebraska's Big Rodeo in Burwell Jozlyn and Halley started of the day in the parade! There Halley got to ride in Miss Rodeo Nebraskas Bronco while Jozlyn was on horseback with other visiting royalty!

During the Rodeo performance Jozlyn rode in the grand entry, carried flags, and signed autographs!

Days of ‘56 Rodeo

The dust has now settled. Jozlyn and Halley had an amazing time during the Days of ‘56 Rodeo!
Besides the two performances they got to help with critter catch, mutton busting, carrying flags as well as signing autographs! On Friday, we awarded our very own Queen Director Liz Heimes with her 25 Years of Service as the Queen Director! On Saturday the girls to lead the committee through the parade. Jozlyn got to compete in her first ever arena race and even bring home a new rodeo kitten from the critter catch!

Miss Rodeo Nebraska: Brylee Thompson as well as Hoot Gibson Memorial Rodeo Princess: Macie Middlebrook accompanied the girls throughout the weekend!
