Today is the day!!! The Midnight Masquerade begins tonight at 7pm at the Marland Mansion. Join us for this red carpet event, where we will spend the evening dancing, mingling, and supporting the arts. There will be cocktails, a DJ, silent auction, and small bites. Masks will be available for purchase at the door if you do not have one. For last minute tickets, click the link below! We can't wait to see you at the masquerade!

The Midnight Masquerade is tomorrow!!! We are so excited, and we know you are too, so here's some things to know before the event that will hopefully answer all our FAQs:

-Doors open at 7pm and the event ends at 11pm
-Dress code is formal attire
-We will have a grazing table from 7-9, followed by late night munchies from 9:30-10:30
-Each attendee will receive a drink ticket upon arrival, and there will be a cash bar
-There are lots of photo ops, so grab your friends and strike a pose!
-Silent auction items will be downstairs. Bidding will run from 7-10, with winners announced at 10:15

Just a reminder that the Haunted Gallery is open to the public today! We will NOT be hosting a formal opening reception, but the gallery will be open until 6pm today for anyone to come by! We will be having a closing reception on October 30. Come stop by the gallery and see all the fun spooky art!

October is Arts and Humanities Month, so what better time to support the arts than now? There are many ways you can support City Arts, such as attending the upcoming Midnight Masquerade on Friday, purchasing tickets to our Yuletide Candlelight Serenade, becoming a City Arts member and attending our fantastic classes and workshops, attending gallery exhibitions, becoming a program sponsor for after-school programs, Arts Festival, or sponsoring a scholarship for a child in our community to participate in our annual youth summer art camp. Whatever your level of involvement, we hope that you'll choose to support the visual arts in Ponca City this month!

Since 2013, VIA Art Fund (VIA) has awarded more than $9 million in grants to artists and cultural institutions nationwide, emphasizing direct engagement with contemporary visual art. Through VIA's Artistic Production Grants program, funding is available to support the production of newly commissioned visual art works exhibited beyond museum walls, in the public realm, or in non-traditional exhibition environments.

Letters of inquiry for the grant program are being accepted through November 5 from artists, nonprofit organizations, and cultural institutions. Funding ranges from $25,000 to $100,000. Projects should exemplify VIA's core values of artistic production, thought leadership, and public engagement.
