☀️ GOOD MORNING, PONCA CITY! Happy Wednesday, party people!

We’re halfway to the weekend, so let’s get this day rolling! ☕️🎶

I’ve got your morning started with country music, a little nonsense, a little news, and whatever else we can stir up before breakfast! 😂

But today is a little different. We’re declaring it DOLLY DAY. ❤️

What a loss for country music… and honestly, for the entire world. Dolly Parton was one of those rare people who made everybody’s world a little brighter. She had a HUGE heart, loved deeply, gave generously, and did so many amazing things for so many people.

And while it hurts to say goodbye, there’s something comforting about knowing Dolly is back with her beloved Carl Dean, the love of her life. ❤️ After all those years together, I have a feeling she got one heck of a welcome home.

And somewhere up there, I’m pretty sure Dolly and Kenny Rogers are already working on a heavenly version of “Islands in the Stream.” 🎶❤️

So today, let’s celebrate Dolly the best way we know how — crank up her music, share a memory, make somebody smile, and maybe do a little good for somebody else. I think she’d like that.

Rest easy, Dolly. Thank you for the music, the laughter, the kindness and the love.

Damn it. We just talked about this earlier this morning. This one hurts.

As much as this hurts country music and country music fans, this is a loss the entire world will feel.

Dolly wasn’t just an icon of country music. Her love reached people who may have never heard a single one of her songs. Her kindness, generosity, and genuine love for people touched lives all over this earth. She helped children, families, communities—and made the world a little better simply by being in it.

And now, less than six months after losing her beloved Carl, she’s back in his arms after nearly 60 years together. ❤️

Somewhere tonight, I like to think there’s a heavenly stage, Carl is waiting for her, and Kenny Rogers is already warming up for a very special reunion.

I can only imagine Dolly and Kenny singing “Islands in the Stream” together again. And somehow, that thought makes this goodbye just a little easier.

Rest easy, Dolly. You were one of a kind, and there will never be another like you.

RIP to a true legend. 💔🦋
