Join us for our Family Friday Art Night at The dA Center for The Arts!

The dA is also working on a collective dA Family Friday Art Night cook book! If you have a family recipe you’d like to share, please write it down and bring the paper November 7th!

PUSD Families are a priority for The dA Center for the Arts. We invite PUSD Families to connect and create in a safe and supported space. The dA offers engaging activities for you to enjoy at your own pace and they serves food and refreshments to make your Fridays easy for parents and caregivers. We have a great 2025/2026 PUSD Family Friday Art Night planned for students Pre K - 12th Grade ! ALL ARE WELCOME HERE !

Immigration raids across Los Angeles County impact more than the lives of those detained – In Pomona they are creating crises in families and our businesses. Family members are afraid to leave their homes to go to work, shop for essentials, take children to school and many other activities that support normal lives. Businesses lose both employees and customers in this environment.

The dA is dedicating November and December to champion support for our community during these stressful times. Phase One is a call for Art and Creative Contributions ( like a sunset cruise in a lowrider ) for a benefit art exhibition that will be open to the public on Saturday, November 8th, 2025 from 6 PM - 9 PM.

We want to share our space to show how the ARTs can lead the way, nourish our spirit, and transform lives. All are welcome to be pART of this bigger project to benefit Pomona.

Artwork that you think will help raise funds for the cause are welcome.
Artwork does not have to be themed for Anti ICE.

Here is what you need to know:
Artwork Sales - 50% to the Artist and 50% to The Compassion Fund
The Artist can choose to donate 100% of artwork sales to the Compassion Fund
DONATED ITEMS or SERVICE ....100% goes directly to the Pomona Commission Fund

The dA is organizing Artists and our community to help raise funds and awareness for the Pomona Compassion Fund.  How can you help ? Donate directly to the Compassion Fund set up by the California Community Foundation ( see QR Code in the post) or contribute a donation of a work of art, a treasure you no longer need, a service like a manicure or tattoo, a gift certificate to a restaurant or store, a pet portrait, or a something that will help the cause. 
All contributions are appreciated. The smallest gift can help with this big need. Be pART of something bigger to help those in need in our own backyard.
