Meigs-Gallia CASA/GAL Program Want to help change a child's story? Want to be the voice for an at-risk child in court? Join our amazing team of volunteers!

The Meigs-Gallia CASA Program works to recruit, train, and support dedicated volunteers who are appointed by the Juvenile Court Judges in Meigs and Gallia Counties to serve as Guardians ad Litem. These CASA volunteers advocate for children who have experienced abuse, neglect, or dependency, as defined by Ohio Revised Code. They act as an independent voice in court, focused solely on what’s best fo

r the child, remaining involved throughout the court process until each child finds a safe and permanent home.

🎨💙 Calling All Student Artists! 💙🎨

The Meigs-Gallia CASA/GAL Program is inviting Meigs County K-5th Grade students to participate in our art contest in honor of Child Abuse Prevention Month!

There will be ONE winner from EACH grade from EACH district.

🏆 Each winner will receive a $25 gift card and be recognized with a certificate at the Meigs County Commissioners meeting in April.

🌟 The Overall Winner will receive a $50 gift card, have their artwork proudly displayed in the lobby of Meigs County Juvenile and Probate Court, and have their design printed on a community t-shirt to be worn on Ohio Wears Blue Day – April 8, 2026!

This is a wonderful opportunity for students to use their creativity to make a difference and help spread awareness in our community.

Complete your artwork and submit to Meigs-Gallia CASA by February 27th. You can drop it off to our office at Meigs County Juvenile and Probate Court, 112 E. Memorial Drive Pomeroy Ohio. (right underneath the Meigs County Health Department)
