4-0-6 AND THE 2-5-0

A great and attentive crowd, ranging from retirees to 2nd graders, all rapt, attentive and appreciated in an outdoor venue.

Ok, NOW the summer season is over.
Stay tuned!

The loss of Dolly Parton is not just the passing of a musical/entertainment superstar and humanitarian, it is the end of an era.

This caliber of human being is few and far between and rarely if ever duplicated.

Always wanted to meet her but never got the chance. The closest I ever got was playing "The Night Dolly Parton Was Almost Mine" in Pump Boys and Dinettes."

RIP to a National Treasure.

It is now likely that, within a year, we will see a dozen tribute shows hit the boards.

Another season in the books.
#51 was a fun roller coaster ride with lots of great shows, great casts and crews and, of course, audiences! But a couple of last things:

1) As our season goes through September, so does our
51 CHALLENGE
You still a little over a month to encourage all the people in your lives to follow us on FB. That's where you'll find updates on shows, auditions and upcoming events, plus interesting and fun things to read and see.

2) Thanks to everyone who made 51 such fun!

3) A special shout-out to our loyal sponsors - Valley Banks, Glacier Bank, Super 1 Foods, First Interstate Bank and WBC. Want to be a sponsor? Message us and we'll tell you how!

Now, here's a little wrapup of our latest season in pictures.
[CLOSER, BABES TO BROADWAY, YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU, THE SCHOOLHOUSE BLIZZARD, THE WOMAN IN BLACK, PEACH PIE REUNION, MUSICAL MATINEES]

And to answer the question of the day:
Q: What's next?
A: Season 52, of course! A brief respite to regroup and recoup, then we'll start to announce the upcoming lineup. How do you get the word on that? Follow us on FB, of course!

Enjoy the rest of your summer and stay tuned!

The weekend is coming. It's a big one for us. This Sunday marks the final performance of our 51st season.

51 is a milestone you can't imagine. That's more than 325 shows in a half century of laughs, music, comedy, tragedy, buffoonery, inanery, jousting, jesting and joking, singing, dancing and tears. Yes, a few tears, mostly of joy, of course....

4-0-6 AND THE 2-5-0
chronicles Montana's place in America's great jubilee this year.
Polson's own Red Butte Wranglers take us on a wild and woolly western ride that will leave you in awe, in stitches, in a place you've never been before.

And yes, we're the only summer theatre doing anything to mark this prestigious anniversary. Period.

But we're used to being a trendsetter. We've been doing things no other Montana theatre does for 51 seasons. We're just waiting for the word to get out....
