Sluggers offers one-on-one hitting instruction for baseball and softball players, tailored to each hitter’s age, experience, and individual needs.

Each 45-minute lesson uses a variety of hitting tools and drills, progressing from still-ball work to moving-ball practice.

The goal is to help every player build a consistent swing, grow in confidence, and feel more prepared at the plate.

Today’s drill from The Sluggers Hitting Lab

“Swinging to Extension”

During soft toss, the hitter focuses on driving the bat through the ball and extending toward the pitcher. This helps her feel the full path of the swing, keep the barrel moving through contact, and avoid cutting the swing off too soon.

Strong extension can help produce harder line drives.

Our first six tournaments are part of our popular "The More You Play, The More You Save" promotion.

The registration fee for your first tournament is $495. With each additional tournament you enter, your registration fee decreases!

Here's how the savings work:

1st Tournament: $495

July 3–5, 2027 (Saturday–Monday)

This special three-day event features an 8-GAME GUARANTEE!

Here's how it works:

Saturday, July 3: Three pool games

Sunday, July 4: Three pool games

Monday, July 5: All teams return for a double-elimination championship round!

That's six pool games followed by at least two elimination games, guaranteeing your team EIGHT GAMES!

Think of it as playing two tournaments in one!

The registration fee for Firecracker Frenzy is $990. Because of its unique format and expanded game guarantee, this tournament is not included in our multi-tournament discount promotion.

At the Sluggers Hitting Lab, we don’t believe in giving every player the same drills and hoping something works.

Our private, one-on-one hitting lessons utilize more than two dozen specialized training tools—including multiple tee systems, training and resistance bats, professional pitching machines, vision-training balls, balance equipment, Pocket Radar and Blast Motion swing analysis.

Each tool has a purpose. Depending on the hitter, we can work on:
