Charlaine Adams has been a resident of Calhoun County for 2 1/2 years and had been doing photography for 5 years. Nancy Dorries attended and graduated from U of H and while there took several classes in art. She loved it so much, that she continued to take oil painting classes at the Port Lavaca Art Guild. Nancy taught elementary school for 27 years, retiring in 2012. Nancy loves Art and Children so much that she decided to combine the two and is currently the Children's Art Teacher at the Guild. Carol Stewart, with her husband, moved to Port Lavaca in 2001 after their retirement. She joined the Port Lavaca Art Guild that same year. Carol works in Oils, colored pencils, and pastels. Her exhibit can be seen at Memorial Medical Center.
