We wanted to take a moment and recognize our Resident Musical Director, Adam King. Adam is not only insanely talented, but he’s generous, incredibly hard working, and no job is too big,or too small for him. Humility, kindness, and work ethic, are his super powers, and most people never see the incredible amount of work he does both on, and off stage. This weekend Adam once again, brought Big River to life with his incredible gifts of musicality and leadership, and we at Everblue, truly don’t know what we would do without him. We would be remiss if we didn’t give a special shout out to our wonderful Director of our production of Big River, . This is Jessica’s second production with , and she is an absolute force. Jessica is one of the most generous, creative, and talented directors we have ever had with our company, and her professionalism is always on point. Jessica is not only talented Director, but an incredibly talented vocalist and performer as well. Jessica has been a privilege to work with, and we hope this will continue to be a wonderful and creative relationship, far into the future. Thank you Jessica for your generosity, creativity, and ability. You are a wonder.

As , our Musical Director , was walking us through the music during our first day of rehearsal, I’m not sure any of us grasped how deep the levels of pain and love, and darkness and light, this show encompasses. This has been a journey so far, and will continue to be. We are so grateful to the actors in our show who are people of color, who have chosen to walk in such bravery. We are so grateful to all the actors who have chosen to take on this task of telling this deeply impactful story. Come be brave with us and see the show. Your heart will be forever changed.
