The HS art classes have been working hard the past two months or so completely transforming the art room. We are getting close to wrapping up our renovation here before Spring Break.

The students have converted our art room from an outdated 70s style concrete building to fresh blue paint around the room, fresh student artwork on many of our calling tiles and some of our exceptional students are building some incredible murals.

I’ll update more as we get closer to the “final” results, but it’s looking great so far. This school is filled with so much artistic talent.

Between our instrumental musicians in the Pride of Pocola Band and our visual artists, I’m blessed to work with as much talent as this.

Some more work to show off with the high school art classes!

We have been working on what is called a “Neuro Doodle”. It starts with a 3 second long freehand doodle and develops into these incredible art pieces. Here’s just a few of what was accomplished over the past week.
