Zoo Idaho - Pocatello Zoo Idaho's mission: Preserving Intermountain West wildlife and habitat through conservation and education. Then we move back to weekends, Sat.

We place non-releasable wildlife, who otherwise would not survive. We are open Sat.-Sun. 10am-4pm until May 1st and then we are open 7 days a week, 9am-4pm until the first weekend in Sept. and Sun. 10am-4pm until Oct. 31

Enrichments and trainings are an important part of zoo life. Keepers have to clean and prepare diets on a daily basis. And in between, find time to prepare enrichments and conduct trainings.

A percentage of every purchased drink, goes directly to the care of our animals.

You can also vote on the name for our new cougar kitten and we will have a raffle drawing for fun prizes that include activities in Lava Hot Springs.

The time has come to announce the final three potential names for our cougar kitten! We had over 500 name suggestions, making this a difficult decision by our staff to get to the final three.

Roxanne
