Together over two decades creating music that ranges from poetic ballads to energetic rock & roll that stirs your soul! With original tunes, steeped in the soulful embrace of blues and the roots rock, this New Haven based band captivates listeners of all ages with a bittersweet allure.

Picture a female lead vocalist with a rich haunting voice that dances somewhere between Grace Slick and Norah Jones… add a band loaded with vibrant drums & percussion, clean crisp guitar, thundering bass, and the soulful wail of a violin. OH! This is melancholy where a tapestry of the Velvet Underground’s raw edge meets the Cowboy Junkies’ dark whimsy.

Meet Adelaide Punkin… a young dynamic musician from the Northwest corner of Connecticut and a founding member of the Rock Yer Block team! Known for her energetic performances and soulful music, she was raised on festival stages. At 18 she has been dubbed the “Queen of busking” in CT and now has over a decade of indy music experience. Performing solo, as a duo with her dad, or with her full band, she has consistently delivered over 2000 engaging shows across the Northeast and beyond! She has performed at dozens of fairs and festivals… Sailfest, The Big E!, The Black Bear Americana Music Festival, The Hartbeat and dozens more. Beyond the music, Adelaide and her family founded Rock Yer Block in Plymouth, CT, promoting art and music in their community.
