French Regional Park Located along the northern shore of Medicine Lake, French Regional Park offers 337 acres of outdoor recreation opportunities.

French Regional Park offers year-round recreational opportunities within 337 acres of park land and 2 miles of shoreline along Medicine Lake. Amenities include paved and turf trails, access to the Medicine Lake Regional Trail, swimming, fishing, picnic grounds, a large creative play area, public boat launch, lighted cross-country skiing, sliding hill, and a variety of recreation programs.

Watercraft rentals remain open at other Three Rivers parks through Labor Day, including Fish Lake Regional Park in Maple Grove.

French Park watercraft rentals will be closed for the season beginning Monday, August 24. The last day to rent watercraft is Sunday, August 23. Be sure to get those final paddles in! 🛶

Rentals are open daily from 11am-7pm and are subject to availability and weather conditions.

Join us TONIGHT for the final 2026 Performance on the Patio from 6:30–8 p.m., featuring the lively music of the Pan-Handlers Steel Drum Band!

Enjoy their vibrant Caribbean sound with a repertoire that includes everything from traditional tunes to rock and roll.

We can't believe this week is already our final Performance on the Patio for 2026 - and it's not one you want to miss! Join us on Thursday, August 13 from 6:30–8 p.m. to experience the lively sounds of the Pan-Handlers Steel Drum Band.

With their vibrant Caribbean sound and diverse repertoire, including traditional steel pan tunes, The Beatles, Guns N' Roses, and Prince, the Pan-Handlers have been captivating audiences for years - and now it's your turn.

Performances will take place outside the French Park Visitor Center. Bring a blanket or lawn chair, get a snack from Soft Serve Social or Eggroll Queen food trucks, and we'll see you there! 🎶🌴

Beat the heat with the chill music of the Jon Sullivan Band at Performance on the Patio TONIGHT!

Led by powerhouse singer Jon Sullivan, this dynamic group of musicians takes inspiration from the flavors of blues, soul, funk and rock. The performance will take place outside the French Park Visitor Center from 6:30–8 p.m.
