โ ๏ธ Turtle Crossing! โ ๏ธ
In spring and summer, turtles are active and commonly seen on paths, roads, and waterways in the park. Here are some things you can do to help keep turtles safe:
๐ข Slow down, especially on park roads.
๐ข Give them space. If you see a turtle crossing a path or road, and they are not in immediate danger, let them continue on their own.
๐ข Donโt turn the turtle around. Turtles have a strong sense of direction, so itโs important that they keep moving in their original direction.
๐ข Move slowly and quietly to avoid startling or stressing the turtle. This can cause them to change direction, stop moving, or hide inside their shells.
