I am deeply honored to have been invited by Cassandra Rose as one of the featured headliners at Belly Dance USA in Salem.
On Saturday, JUNE 13th at 9:30 a.m., I will be teaching a workshop dedicated to the vibrant world of North African shimmies. This is a unique opportunity to explore movements rooted in centuries of tradition, rhythm, and cultural expression. If you are unfamiliar with North African dance and music, prepare yourself to discover a fascinating artistic heritage that is both powerful and joyful, earthy and refined.
Together, we will journey through the rhythms, techniques, and cultural nuances that make North African dance so distinctive and captivating. Whether you are an experienced dancer or simply curious to learn, this workshop welcomes all who wish to deepen their understanding of this beautiful tradition.
