As we wrap up our comp season it’s fun to look back on all of the great times we have had this year and the variety of learning experience!
We started out with an outdoor festival performance in Plymouth and outdoor movie screening of last years show 🍿 We attended a dance convention at a big convention center, we had a photo shoot at the DIA. We took a team trip to NYC to take classes and workshops and see Broadway shows plus lots of fun friend time! Dancers performed in our annual Christmas show and then started out the New Year with a gear up weekend full of photoshoots, dance training, bowling 🎳 and sleepovers!
Our first competition was at a hotel in Chicago, our second was at a performing arts center in West Bloomfield, our third was at Crisler arena in Ann Arbor and our final was a two stage comp at a high school in Walled Lake. All very different performance spaces and each brought teams from different areas for us to learn from. Our dancers thrived and grew as performers and people! We aren’t quite done but we are very proud of all our team has accomplished and grateful for this time together ❤️
