Classes are available for students beginning at age 2 1/2, all the way up through our extensive adult program. We provide broad based training in Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Hip Hop and Jazz. Our convenient location features top of the line cushioned dance surfaces and amazing studio spaces!

🎓Introducing our 2025-2026 Graduating Seniors🎓

Our next graduating senior is MaKenna Allison. Makenna exudes the definition of style and beauty in her dancing. She feels every part of her music and when she dances, she speaks volumes with her movement style and quality. She is fearless, bold and compelling. While her personality is sometimes on the quieter end, her dancing is the complete opposite. Loud, powerful and strong, it’s hard to take your eyes off of her. One of our strongest dancers on Senior line, Makenna is the full package 🩵

Makenna was also an assistant to our younger dancers. She lead by example and was a kind hearted person to look up to. She is adored by all 🩵

MaKenna will be attending The University of South Carolina this fall. She will be majoring in Journalism 🩵

✨WOW! What an incredible weekend of SDS spring recitals! 4 dress rehearsals, 7 Shows and a million smiles 🩵

We want to thank all of our SDS families for the amazing support. These shows simply do not exist without you. Our dancers had so much fun out on that stage. Your applause and cheering made it that much more fun!

To all of our teachers and staff, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your care, love, commitment, guidance, talent and hard work paid off. Our shows this year were the most incredible shows we’ve ever put on. We are so proud of all of you and love you all so much.

To our dancers- we love you all and are so proud to call you ours! You put your hearts out there on that stage. It was so fun to watch you all! We were blown away! Congratulations to all, from our 3-4 year olds to our graduating seniors ✨

As we wrap up on another fantastic year, we feel so proud and just really happy 🩵 We love our SDS family! Excited for summer camps and classes and then we’ll be gearing up to do it all over again!

🎓Introducing our 2025-2026 Graduating Seniors🎓

Our next graduating senior is Mia Abernethy. Mia is the definition of an excellent teammate. Nothing makes her happier than being a part of hard work, excellence and the joy of being in a room with her friends. She is an excellent leader. She has a heart of gold and is kind and thoughtful with her words. As a dancer, she exudes passion and strength. Always 110% in class and always living her best life through her movement. An outstanding performer that lights up the stage. Every dancer loves having her in a group and every teacher loves having her in class.

As a captain this year on Senior Line, Mia lead with love, commitment and positivity. She is a huge part of why Senior Line has had the success they’ve had this year 🩵

Mia will be attending The University of Missouri this fall. She will be majoring in buisness 🩵

🎓Introducing our 2025-2026 Graduating Seniors🎓

Our first graduating senior is Sophia Anderson. Soph is a dancer who exudes nothing but beauty in her dancing. Her feet, technique and flexibility are stunning on stage, while her strength and power supports it. She tells a story every time she dances. The music comes alive while she moves. Her performance is always one to watch.

Her leadership on her team as well as the studio is nothing short of amazing. She is smart, calm and kind with her words. She cares deeply about her teammates and the success of her dances. As a captain on Senior line, she is one that so many others go to and look up to.

Sophia will be attending The University of St. Thomas is the fall. She will be majoring in exercise science as well as dancing on the nationally known Tommies Dance Team 🩵

We are incredibly proud of our SDS Ballet program and its dancers this season. We participated in a few Finals Competitions this spring that had some incredible results!

Congratulations to Leighton Curry who not only qualified for ADCIBC Finals but also YAGP Finals. Both incredibly difficult to qualify for.

Leighton competed as a senior at YAGP in Houston along with many of the world’s best competitors. She also competed in pointe and contemporary at ADCIBC Finals in St. Petersburg Florida, receiving 6th place overall amongst incredible dancers.

Through these competitions and finals this season, Leighton earned summer and year round training scholarships from 17 different schools/programs. 31 scholarships total including 10 full/100% scholarships. Finally, acceptance into 12 year round pre-professional training programs, including 2 trainee positions ( many on scholarship). This is an incredible honor.

Leighton will be attending SAB this summer for 6 weeks on full scholarship 🩰

We couldn’t be more proud of you Leighton. Your hard work and growth this season has been amazing to watch. None of this would be possible without the expertise of our ballet training at SDS. Thank you and Lise for all you both do for our dancers. Another huge thank you to our contemporary teachers , and for all your training, love and support.

☀️Save the dates! July 6, 7 and 8 we will be having 3 evenings of Ballroom with the beautiful 🔥 Class info and pricing will drop this Friday 5/1 at noon. Classes will range from ages 8 and up. No experience needed. This is fantastic preparation for convention training 🔥 Open to the public!
