Our field is closed and has been since 2023, however, we keep the page up in case people want to look back at old pictures that we took during open plays and private parties.
With that said, our page like other paintball pages have been getting notifications about our page not being recommended anymore to new people, that our recommendation thing on Facebook was suspended.
Finally was able to click something useful to request a review on the page. The option that we chose when we asked for a review was the one that mentioned something about the technology misunderstood what our page was about. Pretty sure it was the option above "I don't think my page goes against community standards" (or some version of that)
Didn't get a snip of that because like we've read with other people/pages, nothing seemed to work, so it was more just "going through the motions" to hopefully stop the notifications.
Well, a few minutes later, it was looked at and at first said the recommendation thing was still suspended, but then like another minute or 2 after that when looking at the notification, Facebook said we were good! I guess we will see how long this lasts, even though it isn't that big of a deal for us since the field has been permenantly closed, but maybe could be helpful to other pages.
