Plymouth results May 16

Qualifying: 1st overall
Heat: 4th ➡️ 1st
Feature: 6th ➡️ 2nd

Thanks to Nick Simons for getting the track into great condition for the night. It was fast and so was the 35. Took Adonnis Waterproofing quick time award by almost half a second. Ripped the top in the heat and took the lead on the first lap and never looked back. The redraw was a 6. We quickly got into 3rd but had nothing for the top 2 until the last lap. Couple of lapped cars slowed up the leaders and the 35 went full send but came up .04 seconds short of the victory. Congratulations to Lance Fassbender on his win!

We have Memorial weekend off so our next race will be May 30th.

Plymouth results May 10
Qualifying:1st in group, 2nd overall
Heat: 3rd ➡️ 3rd
Feature: 11th ➡️ 4th

Great qualifying effort should have had us starting 4th, but a lineup error made us start on the inside lane of a dried up track that was high line dominant. Took a bit to get going on a dry feature surface, but found some late race speed and surged into 4th place under the checkers.

Next up; Plymouth May 17 with IRA

Due to the cold and wet weather conditions, this week’s races - Saturday, May 2 - are canceled.

The season opener for the Super Six Late Model Series is now set for next Saturday, May 9 with the PDTR 360 Sprint Cars, Grand Nationals and B Mods also on tap.

May 9th is also You’re Our Heroes Night with free admission for U.S. military, police, fire, and EMS personnel with valid ID, as well as an American flag giveaway for kids.

Early start times will again be in place with spectator gates open at 4 p.m., qualifying at 4:30 p.m. and racing to follow.
