This is how I prefer to make sure my boards are nice and flat - a router sled jig.

Until recently I was using a much less sturdy sled for the router, so I decided to upgrade! Does it still look homemade? Yes! Does it work great? Also yes!

Another charcuterie board for the books!

This beautiful board was built with maple and padauk. The maple has this really beautiful two tone nature to it, and the padauk does a wonderful job contrasting against the light maple color.

I really love how something as simple as taking the two corners off the opposing sides can elevate this board and add to its character

Glue ups can really be everything with a charcuterie board. No matter what wood you use, what style it is, or the finish you use; if there are gaps, people will notice. They really are a small but important step in making a great board

A busy week at my day job doesn't mean I stop my woodworking!

The honey-brown board is honey locust and has a beautiful grain pattern.

The darker board is black walnut, and I really love how it fades from the rich, dark heartwood into the lighter, blonde sapwood.

Hopefully this next week will have more projects done and videos released!

Watch this charcuterie board come to life!

I made some mistakes with my initial design for this board, but I think it still turned out perfect! The golden-brown colors really shine and the grain pattern is just beautiful!

Beautiful patterned wooden dice!

This beautiful dice tray was built out of padauk and mahogany, with my touch of local Wisconsin with honey locust as the lighter contrast.
