⚾🎶 Take Me Out to the Ball Game! 🎶⚾

Last Friday, Somerset Hills Harmony had the pleasure of kicking off the evening at a Somerset Patriots game by singing the National Anthem! 🇺🇸

After taking the field, we got to sit back, cheer on the Jersey Diners, and enjoy the game together. What started as a fun gig has quickly become a favorite SHH tradition! We’re already looking forward to coming back next year! 💙⚾

It’s always a great time sharing our music with the community and spending time together as an SHH family.

Somerset Hills Harmony participated in Somerset County’s commemorative reading of the Declaration of Independence. The National Anthem and God Bless America were sung by The Road Less Traveled quartet, and Artistic Director Don Staffin was one of the readers.

Last Thursday, Somerset Hills Harmony and The Gold Dynamic had the wonderful opportunity to perform at Fellowship Village in Basking Ridge, NJ! 💚

We had such a fun evening sharing our music with the community, spreading harmony, and even teaching a little about the art of barbershop singing along the way. Thank you to everyone who welcomed us so warmly and sang along with us!

What a fun weekend! Congratulations to everyone who performed at MAD Northern Division, to East Coast Sound and B-Side for winning the Chorus and Quartet competitions respectively. Thanks to Garden Statesmen Acapella Chorus for co-hosting a successful afterglow. All three rooms were full, and thank you to all the quartets who extended their evening to sing a few more songs for the crowd. Special thanks to the MAD Events Team for putting on a flawless convention.

SHH and The Gold Dynamic had a blast on stage, and we are delighted to have taken 2nd place behind ECS.

Five years ago this week as the pandemic entered its second year, Somerset Hills Harmony and the The Pluckemin Presbyterian Church choir released a series of music videos: four hymns that could serve as a virtual Easter service for churches still unable to worship in person. SHH is a secular organization, but PPC has been our host since 2012. They allowed us to sing in cars in their parking lot, providing electricity and facility access throughout the pandemic. This was our thank you.

To our great surprise, the videos have collectively garnered approximately 35,000 views to date across 29 different countries, and nearly 70% outside the USA. And they continue to be viewed, with over 3,000 in the last year alone. Thankfully, the pandemic is an increasingly distant memory, but the music is still here.
