Shave the Date....Or Not

The Sheridan County Fair invites you to flaunt your luxurious locks in the debut Mullet and Beard Contest. On July 26th unleash your inner diva and compete in any of the three categories:

Supreme Mullet
Magnificent Beard or Facial Hair
Most Creative beard/Facial Hair

Cash prizes will be available for 1st and 2nd

Sheridan County Fair Board wants to give you a heads up that the Fair will be moving up a week for 2025. When making plans just remember the fair will be July 17th, 18th, and 19th in 2025.

The Sheridan County Fair Association Inc. is hosting a T-Shirt design contest to pick the winning design for the 2024 Fair official T-Shirt. Winners will receive a t-Shirt featuring their artwork, win a fair experience package with event tickets and a wristband, have their art on the cover of the Open Class Exhibitor guide and handbook, and be featured on our website and page. Sheridan County Fair 2024 is set for Thursday July 25th- Saturday the 27th. It is the 85th year our County has had a fair and not just a Harvest festival. 2024's Fair theme is "Rough Hands, Farmer Tans, Dirty Boots and Country Roots". There will be fair theme categories in many of the different departments in open class including photography, crafts, and art.

Keep an eye out for an announcement on an early way you can be a part of this year's Sheridan County Fair.

We are looking for a few people to join the Sheridan County Fair Board. Plans for 2024 are starting now so come in and help us plan this treasured community event.

We have a few Straglers that got left behind at the fair. Please come and collect your entries outside the extension office. Also those who recieved special awards please come see Brandie at The extension office

There is also a tub with several jackets/sweaters and baseball hats left around the fair grounds. If you are missing one we may have it. Any clothing items not picked up by the 21st will be donated.
