Hi, I hope everyone is having a wonderful new year. I just wanted to give you all a follow up on my health. As you could see from my website , I’ve been absent these past several months. I thank you all who have contacted me to check in, it is appreciated so much 💕
Earlier this Summer while on Vacation, I ended up getting STSS Streptococcal Toxic Shock Syndrome. The infection affected my right forearm, hand, ankle and started to travel to my left side. It hit me like a Mac truck. My surgeon was amazing as well as all the doctors and nurses in ICU who literally saved my life (twice!). After several surgeries and lots of PT/OT I am able to walk again and have hopes that I will regain some movement in my hand to accomplish regular every day activities. I was in the hospital for 2 months and I know I have a long road ahead of me so I am staying strong and looking forward to creating some amazing artwork once again. So how was your Summer ?😊
