There is a new gallery in Pleasanton, CA. Yesterday was the opening of its 1st Exhibition and my 2 large paintings made it there! The pics below show my oil painting (behind me) on the left and watercolor on the right. The event attracted many local artists and, since it is on Main St in downtown, it brought in passerby people to check it out. This was a great start!

These unusually red peonies, with only one dense round of petals, I saw in Calistoga CA and was amazed at how bright red they are.

This past weekend Pleasanton Art League had a Youth Art Show at the Stoneridge Mall. I was happy to volunteer. Love kids and their creativity! There were some very talented kids had their artworks shown. Some people were asking if they can buy displayed paintings...

When I was in Madrid last year I was amazed to see so much graffiti seems to be everywhere! Some I wish wouldn't be there, yet some are fitting in somehow, like this one in a narrow old street which inspired my painting. I painted it recently just for fun and somebody just purchased it from my website 😊.
