38 PLANES. NEARLY 7,000 STRANGERS. GANDER NEWFOUNDLAND.

On September 11, 2001, as the world watched in disbelief, thousands of airline passengers found themselves stranded in Gander, Newfoundland.

What happened next was extraordinary.

A small Canadian community opened its doors, shared its homes, and welcomed people from around the world.

Their true story inspired the award-winning Broadway musical Come From Away.

This January, Tri-Valley Theatre Company brings this unforgettable story of kindness, humanity, and unexpected friendship to the Bankhead Theater in Livermore.

Two weekends. One extraordinary true story.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll introduce you to the real people behind the musical, explore the history, and take you behind the scenes as our production comes to life.
