The Board has voted, and the Shadow Cliffs LUPA has been adopted. Thanks to your support, language has been added to the document that keeps the slides open for up to 10 more years! GOOD JOB, SUPPORTERS!!! And thanks again!!!

THANK YOU, SUPPORTERS!!! Looks like the slides will be open for 5 more years, and maybe longer. The Park District Board of Directors has put off their vote on the Land Use Plan Amendment until May 3rd at 2PM to get further legal review on a few issues, including removing the closure of the slides from the plan altogether. YAY!

Has your Club, School, Company or Organization had a party at The Rapids? Are you in favor of saving the water slides? Let me know if your group is willing to write a letter of support - I'll even come pick it up! This is at the request of one of the Park District Board Members, we'll need it by Friday morning.
