Recital 2026 COMPLETE!!
This post is a little later than usual, but the sentiment is the same!
Wow, what a great recital week we had! All 230 students ROCKED IT on stage for our 2 shows. We are so incredible proud of each and every one of them! You would never have known that the first time our students practiced on that stage was dress rehearsal the day before!
A heartfelt thank you to all of our amazing parent volunteers who helped throughout the week! You played such an important role in making our shows a success. Your ongoing support this year, along with all of your encouragement and kind words this week, truly means the world to us.
To our dancers - what an incredible group you are! You were absolutely outstanding. Parents, you should be so proud of your kids; every single dancer has shown tremendous growth this year.
To our staff - wow. We are so lucky to work alongside such dedicated, talented, and caring people. It’s truly an honor to teach with you and watch you inspire our students. We also want to recognize our former students who returned to volunteer backstage, your support meant so much. And our choreographers continue to amaze us with their creativity and artistry. This is so much more than a job for all of us, we genuinely love dance and every student who walks through our doors.
To our five seniors, you will be deeply missed. Thank you for the memories, the energy, and the years you’ve shared with us. We are so excited for what’s ahead for you, and you will always have a home at JDS.
As bittersweet as it is to close out the season, we’re looking forward to some well-earned rest before jumping into preparations for next year. Don’t forget to register for Year 72—we can’t wait to see you in September!
