When one door closes, another one opens.
Old Soul Design Shop Inc has given this community a space for so many things. For me, it has given me the space to create a karaoke that I wanted. A karaoke for anyone of any age. A karaoke that I wish I could have had when I was a kid.
Old Soul picked me up when I was leaving my previous gig because of mistreatment and disrespect and gave me a new outlook. It reignited my love of running karaoke. It gave us a space to hold Pride Prom. It gave us a space that everyone was welcome in. For that, I am so grateful.
Let's cherish the last few months we have with this beautiful space. Join in on all the events. Come see us at karaoke on Sundays, we'd love to have you.
As for the future of Family Friendly Weekend Wind-Down Karaoke....well I don't plan on that ending. Old Soul was the start, and we can take our family wherever we go. I will keep everyone in the loop. For now, let's keep packing the house every Sunday. Let's keep donating so that Old Soul can start a new chapter, whatever that may be.
We are all in this together, so let's make the absolute most of these next few months. Let's show how grateful we are to have had a space like this in our lifetime.
