Are you a new or intermediate artist that struggles with making paintings of houses or city streets that “feel right”? Then our upcoming Intro to Architectural Painting with Acrylics class is for you! 🖌️ We’ll learn how to draw with perspective, helping students use the “one-point” and “two-point” perspective techniques to draw out their painting, then we’ll learn how to use light and dark painting techniques to give their scenes even more depth and perspective. Fast drying acrylic paints will be used so students will have a complete painting in one session!

📆 Class meets: Saturday, June 20th, 10:30am-2:30pm

Kickoff the 4th of July weekend with us in the Strand Center Theatre! 🎶🇺🇸🎸 THE BOSS PROJECT: The Premier Springsteen Tribute in America hits our stage on July 3rd!

Bruce Springsteen is one of the last living legends; known to many as the voice of the working class and pioneer of heartland rock, The Boss is more than a nickname - it’s a never-say-die battlecry, illuminating the last remnants of the American Dream.

Covering decades of Springsteen’s beloved catalogue, The Boss Project has done the (nearly) impossible, not by merely replicating what’s no less than an immortal show, but by presenting audiences with a taste of the up-close and personal magic that only a small percentage of the E. Street Band’s millions upon millions of fans will ever have the privilege to see in concert.

We’re SO EXCITED for our NEW Try It Printmaking: Painterly Collograph class! 🤩 Join us on June 12th to create your own unique print.

In this course we will be intaglio printing, (think etching) a process in which ink is wiped into grooves, textures and recesses within the plate, different from relief printing (like linocut or woodcut) in which ink is rolled over the top of the block, and sits on un-carved or high relief portions of the block. 🖌️ By brushing different glues onto our plate we will create a plate with areas that hold ink differently, resulting in a print resembling a monochromatic painting.

📆 Class meets: Friday, June 12th, 10am-12pm
