Synopsis
Nearly twenty years after losing her son to AIDS, Katharine Gerard pays an unexpected visit to Cal Porter, her sonâs former partner. Cal has since built a life with his husband, Will Ogden, and their young son, Bud. What begins as an awkward reunion becomes a deeply emotional conversation about love, grief, marriage, parenting, and how families â and the world â have changed. Mothers and Sons is moving, challenging, and often unexpectedly funny.
