Every Labor Day weekend the internationally recognized Texas Association of Magicians plays host to magicians worldwide providing lectures, entertainment, and most importantly for the magicians, competition amongst their peers as to who is the best in stage and close-up magic. In 2010, Sam won the Senior Close-Up competition against an internationa

l array of top magicians from Europe, Canada, Asia, and Mexico becoming one of the youngest magicians to win the Senior Close-up Competition. Over the years, he has honed his comedic/magic routine utilizing his experience as a former member of the Comedy Sportz Improv Team and regularly performing for audiences at the Addison Improv and the Back Door Comedy Club in Dallas. He is available for Church Youth gatherings, Senior Retirement Centers, and Private Parties offering a unique show combining unbelievable, mind-blowing magic and humor that keeps audiences amazed and laughing at the same time. Sam has performed for local businesses and corporate functions for companies such as Ameriprise Financial, Atmos Energy, AT&T, Boy Scouts of America, Dollar General, JCPenney, Texas Instruments, and Top Golf. Currently, Sam can also be seen performing weekly, Tuesday through Saturday evenings 6:30 to 8:30 pm at Dale Wamstad’s TEXAS steakhouse located in Richardson at George Bush Tollway (190) and Jupiter Road.
