Our PMI Spring Recital I (at Trinity Presbyterian Chuch of McKinney) was truly a beautiful celebration of music 🎶🧡

Seeing so many parents, grandparents, family members, and friends come together to support our students made the whole recital feel like a holiday gathering — full of excitement, joy, and unforgettable moments✨

This recital featured wonderful performances across piano, voice, violin, guitar, and more. We were incredibly proud to watch our students perform with confidence, artistry, and heart on stage.

Thank you to every student who worked so hard, every teacher who poured their heart into teaching, and every family who continues to support these musical journeys. You are the reason this community feels so special❤️

And this is only the beginning. We look forward to seeing more students grow through music, build confidence, and one day stand on even bigger stages while sharing their gifts with the world✨

Guided with patience and care by PMI flute instructor: Ms. Hyeyeon Kim

Meet PMI Flute Instructor Ms. Hyeyeon Kim
Ms. Hyeyeon Kim is a teacher, soloist, and chamber musician in the United States and South Korea. She serves as a Teaching Fellow at the University of North Texas and a flute instructor in multiple districts in Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Ms. Kim has performed extensively in chamber and large ensemble settings as a member of Dallas Asian Wind, Érume Ensemble, IF Ensemble, UNT Wind Symphony, and UNT Symphony Orchestra. Additionally, she was a winner of the 2020 University of North Texas Concerto Competition.

Ms. Kim received her Bachelor of Music in South Korea, and she continued her studies and earned a Performance Diploma of music from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University.

She also received a Master of Music degree in the flute performance at the University of North Texas College of Music in 2022, and she is now pursuing her Doctoral of Music degree in flute performance at UNT.
