Luckily all you folks know to come to TGIC even if I forget to post that we’re on! Woo! What an evening full of fun! Please meet the new mascot, Snowy. This doggie is safely snuggled in the back keeping watch over our art supplies. H- I will take a picture of his quarters in the back, I completely forgot to but know that he is safe and the amazing Madness employees have agreed to feed him throughout the week for us.

Hi friends! Y'all always come through when we have an ask for donations, and I have a few things that are big hits that we'd like to restock for our kiddos. Masks (we'd love two of each of these packs at least!) - there is a standard mask and fancy shaped masks - but these have been a HUGE hit lately!

Earring and Keychain supplies - I've been seeing some cool stuff these kids are coming up with for these!

Beads for jewelry making - I added several kinds I think the kids would enjoy, we would take any of them!

Erasers - I added some block erasers and kneaded erasers for our avid sketch artists!

As always, I added all this on Amazon, but if you have any of these goodies at home and want to bring them up to donate to our crew please shoot me a message!

It’s vacation week for TGIC! There will be NO TGIC this Wednesday, July 29!

See previous post for details. The tables will still be reserved for kiddos that come and bring your own supplies. There will be no supervision or community supplies, so plan accordingly if you come anyway!

Just please tidy up after yourself when you leave, the awesome employees at Madness will thank you!

We’re on for TGIC tonight 5:30-7 at Madness!

IMPORTANT: TGIC will be cancelled next week, July 29. I will be on vacation and Megan needs a break from being the MVP. This means that there will be no supervision for your kids, and there will be no community supplies available.

As always, if you bring your kiddos and they have their own projects, they are welcome to use the tables as long as you tidy up after yourselves. I know we occasionally have a few people inevitably show up when we cancel, but to remove the pressure from veteran parents to help host, I want to be clear that there will be no supplies or organized group meeting next week.

We’ll be back the following week, and will determine the August schedule to accommodate all the back to school folks (meet the teachers, orientation etc).

We’re on tonight 5:30-7 at Madness! Megan is in charge tonight because I spent the early afternoon at Meow Wolf with some of our TGIC peeps! We had an absolute blast, and hope to plan more TGIC outings in the future. Thanks to the parents and kiddos that came out to explore the real unreal today!

🎉 It’s Ally’s TGIC-versary! 🎉

This month marks 2 years since I took over running TGIC, and I wanted to celebrate the best way I know how… by hanging out with some of my favorite crafty humans!

So we’re having a very unofficial TGIC meetup at:

🕚 11:20 AM entry time

This is very much an “I’ll be there if you want to be there too!” kind of event. We’re are planning to wander through Meow Wolf, poke at all the weird art, and enjoy the day. Thanks to some of our OG parents for the suggestion of a group outing!

A few quick notes:
✨ Buy your own tickets for the 11:20 AM entry time.
✨ This is not a drop-off event. Kids will need to attend with a parent or guardian.
✨ We’re not organizing a tour or chaperoning a group. We’re just hanging out together!
