We know many of you have been eagerly waiting for a video of our performance of "Seussical-The Musical" on social media. Sadly, our rights to the show do not allow us to post or distribute any recordings.

We appreciate that many people love to relive our shows over and over, as well as share them with those who could not attend, but this is one of the things that makes live theatre so magical and bittersweet. These shows are fleeting moments that we share together and then must live on in our memories.

In 2021, following the pandemic, USD 270 in Plainville expanded its summer programming to include a two-week drama camp. Now in its sixth summer, the program has grown into a two-part experience each June: the Kids Theatre Camp 🎬 and the Broadway Showcase 🎼, both under the direction of Paradise Flats Theatre Collective.

Participation remains free for all students, thanks to the dedication of volunteer teachers and the generous support of community sponsors. As the program continues to grow, so does its impact—providing opportunities for young performers to build confidence, creativity, and teamwork.

Heartland Community Foundation is proud to be among the supporters of this initiative through a grant awarded during the Fall 2025 grant cycle.

Be sure to catch Seussical the Musical at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 12 in the Plainville USD 270 auditorium!
The Broadway Showcase is scheduled for Friday, June 26 at 7 p.m.
