Here is the official parade map for the Fourth of July Red, White, and Moo Parade and Milk Festival! The Parade will begin at 11th and Ash and go South, turning on east 6th street and ending at Plainview Fire Station #1.

Red, White, and Moo Freedom Parade and Milk Festival will be here soon, and we want to share the official parade route as we continue to prepare for the celebration!

The Freedom Parade will begin at 11th and Ash where the route will move south to end at 6th and Ash by the Plainview Fire Station #1. Parade entry line up is also shown and will enter along 12th Street.

Red, White & Moo Milk Fest to be held on Thursday, July 4th

The Red, White & Moo Freedom Parade & Milk Fest, along with various other activities, will be held on Thursday, July 4th on the Courthouse Lawn in Downtown Plainview.

Activities will begin with the Red, White & Moo Freedom Parade at 10:00 a.m. The parade will begin at the Railroad Depot, head south down Ash Street, and turn east at 6th Street & Ash Street ending at Fire Station #1.

Downtown Plainview /Main Street will be coordinating the parade; participants are welcome. Prizes will be awarded to outstanding parade entries. Participants will be allowed to pass out candy walking beside the float and large vehicles and semi-trucks will be able to participate. For more information or to pick up an entry form, visit www.plainviewtx.org or call 806.293.4000.

Following the parade, the Red, White & Moo Milk Fest will be held on the Courthouse lawn from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Activities will include music, bouncy houses, mobile dairy classroom, petting zoo, face painting, foam bubbles, food trucks and of course, free ice cream, milk and cheese.

The event is organized by the Red, White & Moo Committee, consisting of local dairies including Grand View Dairy, Fox Dairy, Legacy Farms, Dairy Fountain and Descanso Dairy. It has been held for more than ten years and is celebrated across the country in June for National Dairy Month. Along with the local dairies, Dairy Max, Gandy Farms, and Southwest Dairy Farmers also support the efforts of the Red, White & Moo Festival.

Red, White & Moo Milk Fest to be held on Saturday, July 1st

The Red, White & Moo Freedom Parade & Milk Fest, along with various other activities, will be held on Saturday, July 1st at the Courthouse Lawn in downtown Plainview.

Activities will begin with the Red, White & Moo Freedom Parade at 10:00 a.m. The parade will begin at the Railroad Depot (12th & Broadway) and turn west at 6th & Broadway ending at City Hall.

Prizes will be given for the Best Decorated Entry and People’s Choice Award. Parade watchers will take a photo of their favorite entry and post it on the Red, White & Moo page (www.facebook.com/Red, White and MOO Milk Fest). People will be able to vote until midnight July 3rd. The winners will be announced on the Red, White & Moo page at noon on Tuesday, July 5th.

Candy will be allowed but no semi-trucks (or other vehicles) unable make the corner turn at 6th & Broadway.
