I was looking through some papers I had in my basement and I ran across an old paper from the Catskills that had an ad for my magic and music show. I performed at a lot of hotels including the Concord, The Pines, The Paramount and Kutshers to name a few. At the time I also worked for another agent that did the Italian Catskills. I don’t remember some of those hotels except maybe The Rocking Horse and Roseland. I truly enjoyed doing those shows. I opened for many acts and I was also the headliner. It was a great time in my life.

Well today we did our magic shows for the 9th year and it was wonderful. We had record audiences. One child said she came to see me four years in a row and I never picked her. I picked her today and she was in heaven. I live for moments like those. Thank you American Museum of Natural History for booking us again. We feel like family.

I started getting into magic at the age of 8 years old. I watched The Magic of Alakazam and even saw Mark Wilson in person at the New York World's Fair. I started performing magic for money when I was 15 appearing at schools, libraries and private parties with my friend. I would hang out at Tannen's and became friends with Tony, Irv and Lou. It is also where I became friends with a 13 year old name David Kotkin. He then changed it to David Copperfield and the rest as they say is history. For three years i ran a brick and mortar magic shop with a friend. I then went into the corporate world and worked as a marketing manager for AT&T at Two World Trade Center. In 1984 I quit my job and went full time into magic. I performed at lots of resorts in the Catskills and other areas. Also did many festivals, corporate shows and banquet shows with illusions.
