Viva La Musica Vermont Viva La Musica VT is dedicated to introducing children and communities to the performing arts through live performances, workshops, and musical arts camps.

Viva La Musica VT is dedicated to staging full opera, musical theater productions and other types of performance utilizing Vermont and New England emerging and professional singers and musicians, with venues at Vermont schools and smaller Vermont towns that many not have the means to support a stand alone opera company. Our goals are to educate our audiences about opera, introduce new audiences to

opera through school and community outreach programs such as recitals, scene work, and classes about the historical, literary, and artistic aspects of opera. We make every effort to hire and utilize Vermont singers and musicians in every aspect of production and performance, as a means to sustaining Vermont artists and the Vermont economy.

Viva is thrilled to be presenting a session next week at the Vermont Music Educators' Association Virtual Conference!

Our session is titled "Opera Workshop: Historic and Modern Connections While Making Beautiful Music." We will be having a great time listening to various styles of music (not just opera), and discussing how opera remains a viable and vital musical genre today, as it continued to grow and change and evolve.

Still not signed up yet for the conference? Planning to go, but not sure what sessions to attend? Check out the conference page at the website below, and note that ALL sessions are being recorded this year and will be available for three weeks after the actual date of the conference, so you have the chance to attend EVERY session (asynchronously).
