Hi, My name is Riskian Moon. I am a 27 year old, DMV based visual artist, born and raised from the cornfields of Indiana.
Throughout my life, I have always known art to be my most compassionate and reliable narrator, waiting for me to show up vulnerable and uninhibited.
As a pocket journal enthusiast and a Bic pen stan, my genuine love for art blossomed through these moleskin journals. They became a sanctuary for my own personal evolution; a place where my perception of self, art, and our connection to one another transcended.
In this collection ‘Sit with Me’, I invite you to ground yourself (literally, if you will) as your eyes journey through the graden of my mind. These journals are my temples where I sow seeds, water my soul, and grow.
To me, this is therapy. An expressive release of my internal battles; an intuitive process of transforming emotional burden into visual poetry.
