I called this show “Wildly Made” because that’s the truest thing I can say about how it came together.

Not carefully. Not cautiously. Wildly — with color and feeling and figures that reach for each other and flowers that show up everywhere because that’s what flowers do.

“After the Rain, We Gather” — on of the pieces you’re seeing here — is about exactly that. The gathering that happens after. The way people come back together. The way color comes back after the gray.

I’ll be showing this and new work at Jemez Fine Art in Jemez Springs, New Mexico. August 21–27.

I’ve been sitting on this news and it’s time to share it. My work is going to be showing at Jemez Fine Art Gallery this August.

Some of you may not know that I lived in Jemez Springs for a few years after I retired. It was a place that I miss and showing at Jemez Fine Art Gallery will be like I’m going back home.

The pieces I’m bringing are pieces that are a mix of old and new (some of it is still on the easel).
