Hello all you beautiful people out there! 👋🏼 Closer to Home here. Things have been quiet since closing the show.
We miss you all and just want to send our biggest most heartfelt thanks to you all. The joy, generosity, and openness of our audiences was just incredible. ❤️

We sent in our final report for our grant. But the story does stop here. We have the amazing (who designed our projections) editing show footage and we will have movie viewings of the show 🍿 very soon.

Meantime, we are resting up and thinking of the next steps. Please take care and we’ll post updates soon 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️🛸

Hey friends 👋🏼 It’s been a minute since we closed our one-weekend run of Closer To Home. We wanted to take a moment to say how grateful we are…
To everyone who came out to see the show. You in the audience really brought this show to life.
To our incredible team of actors and artists who were so brave and dedicated through many challenges.
To & the shows’ writers and directors (and queens)
To our grant! for making this project possible.
To for proving us with a performance space!

There will be a video of the show soon, and we plan to have a couple local showings and Q&A’s with the community when it is available.

We’ve been quietly at work in the next phase of Closer to Home - the performance itself! After months of hosting events and gathering stories from the community, our lead artists have created an original script and rehearsals are underway.
We can’t wait to share more about the Artists and the show soon!

It’s Pride month! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️This year we’ve been working on our project Closer to Home, about experiences of LGBTQIA+ folx in our rural, small town.
At our very first gathering we asked this question and received so many interesting and varied responses.
