Due to an abundance of caution for COVID-19 (Coronavirus), rehearsals of the SCYP have been canceled until further notice. While there have been no reported incidents of members of the SCYP community having contracted the virus, I am following the recommendations of the local school districts that have closed schools for up to 3 weeks.

Additionally, all concerts and events at Chapman University through May 8th have been canceled, including our March 22nd concert. Our June 6th concert date at Chapman, for the time being, has not been canceled.

This is a fluid situation and rehearsals will resume as soon as it is deemed safe to do so. Frequent updates will be provided as time moves forward.

Congratulations on an outstanding performance at our Season Finale! We are proud of the growth of all members. Our concert demonstrated remarkable individual and ensemble skill development, dedication to yourself and others, and just plain hard work!

Information regarding our summer program, as well as the 2018-19 season will be shared soon. For now, enjoy some well-deserved time off. 🎶🎶

Auditions for the 2017 - 2018 Season are underway! Our final round is Saturday, September 2nd from 9 am to 12 pm. Register online to secure your audition time.

Tour with us in June for performances in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto! Further information will be available at the Orientation and Parent Meeting on September 3rd. Family and friends are welcome to join.
