The rink has been taken apart (Thank you Vern!!!) and now needs to be picked up. If anyone has a few hands to help and wants to get the liner folded up (dry please) and stack the lumber feel free to do so!

We could really use more help getting the snow off the ice. It’s a very satisfying workout! 💪🏼😉

FYI the liner has been rolled off and put to the side for now. Stay tuned for a workday to take the frame apart.

It’s been a tough season so far for the ice rink. We’ve worked hard to make the most of the wet snowfall, on and off rain and not so great ice making weather. The ice isn’t perfect but it’s the best it’s been all year.

Cones have been set out on one end where leaks in the liner have prevented us from covering the entire rink with ice. Please be careful and stay on the good ice and off the exposed liner.

Enjoy what’s there before the next warm stretch gets us!

Forecast looks good for making ice!

If we can get enough hands to put the liner in today we can flood the rink and hopefully be skating in a few days!

Hey Pittsfield! Are you ready for ice? We have been watching the weather and think it’s time to make it happen. We are planning to put the rink frame together Wednesday (11/23) morning at 9am. Stop by and lend a hand if you can. Coffee, donuts, muffins or treats are also appreciated. ⛸🏒
