Super bummed that one of my all time favorites Taylor Kirk of Timber Timbre is dead and turns out he really was as an abusive nightmare.
Feel like I have an obligation now to output and process all the beauty I obtained from his music, and make it my own haunted house. Why do people often dream of old childhood homes. I'm sure the answer isn't so far away.
4 more days of work than I have a summer of painting, recording, and learning how to print film.
I've really been doing nothing but practicing guitar in my spare time and I'm grateful for the focus . Id like to have a heart broken Valentine's day set, hmu if you know of a venue that'd be into that.

$278 dollars were raised for .pgh ! Thank you to all who made it out and for hosting.
Really appreciate being able to participate in benefit shows, as I'm not the best at direct action otherwise.
Get at me if you are planning a late Summer benefit show :)
I'm currently working on recording my set. If anyone knows of people who work in mixing and mastering or labels that are into experimental dream pop, let me know.

It's almost Summer and I can't wait to get all dreamy and work on stuff.

Hello! My name is Bat St. Chip.

I perform tonight at Moon Dog's in Blawnox to celebrate album release 'Take the Honeyed Hand'

Using a looper pedal and rhythm sequencer I collage home made and found samples. Paying homage to 60s girl groups and acts such as Dirty Beaches, Su***de and Cindy Lee I create a Lynchian atmosphere of longing, devotion, and acknowledgement of the horrors around us at all times .

All proceeds go to benefit a Wolf Sanctuary.

On Thursday, February 19, join us at the Mr. Roboto Project to raise funds for PAAR, Pittsburgh's only agency solely devoted to assisting survivors of sexual violence and their families.

Come by and enjoy experimental pop by Bella Figlia, Lynchian Doo-wop by Bat St. Chip, Americana crooning by Vida Chai, and experiential flute soundscapes by Trē.
